“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded... Above all, keep loving one another earnestly.” (1 Peter 4:7–8) Our time is short. That’s what Peter is saying here. And he’s not saying it to scare us or to make us hold tighter to this world. Peter means it to focus us. Because Christ suffered for us, we’re called to live differently: holy, urgent, and full of love. We don’t have time to waste. We have such a short season of Kingdom usefulness. So we live with eyes fixed on eternity, hearts full of grace, and hands at work for the glory of Christ. #faith #biblestudy #devotions #dailydevotional #christianlife #bibleverse #birminghamalabama

Yahweh, may all see You and not me. Holy Spirit, speak and fill us: Your words and not mine. Help us see Jesus in Scripture. ********* Jacob probably never imagined that the dignitaries and court officials of the most powerful government of his time would mourn his passing. Yet, God’s plans are often beyond anything we could dream or foresee. What seems like the end is often the start of something remarkable when we trust in Him. Remain faithful and steadfast in your love for God. Walk in obedience to His will and trust in His promises. Through Jesus, we have victory over sin and death, and eternity awaits us. Until that time, surrender your life to Him and witness His power to do exceedingly, abundantly more than you could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May your daily walk with Christ lead you to know Him deeply and experience the fullness of life only found through Jesus. Let us pray: *Faithful God. God who loves giving gifts. I trust You, Lord. With humble fear and adoration, I come before You today. Lord, You have never failed to amaze us. Your deeds are mighty and powerful. Praises to the Most High King. Yahweh, to those who love You, Your promises for them are so vast. The devil knows this and is trying to lie and distract us from our blessings. Open the eyes of Your people to see what is happening. Here I am, Lord. Help me to love and please You. For Your glory. Amen.* My Friend, be a blessing and be blessed today. 🙏🏾 #God #Jesus #dailybibleverse #dailymotivation #Godfirst #glorytoGod #verseoftheday #Prayer #Worship #Bible #faith #truth #dailybiblestudy #crazyfaith #leadership

Yahweh, may all see You and not me. Holy Spirit, speak and fill us: Your words and not mine. Help us see Jesus in Scripture. ********* Jesus had just done something revolutionary in their culture: a master washing the feet of his disciples, a task reserved for servants. It was a striking act of humility, love, and service. This verse was brought to me after a night of restlessness, where my spirit grieved over the misuse of influence in today’s world. I watched a podcast featuring a prominent influencer who demonstrated knowledge of Scripture but twisted it to support worldly and sinful behaviours. She encouraged actions outside of marriage that directly contradict God’s Word, all under the guise of building character and testing relationships. The host of the podcast was visibly uncomfortable, and my heart ached as I reflected on the damage this distortion of God’s Word could cause. As believers, we are called to imitate Jesus. His example of humility, love, and obedience to God is the standard. If what we’re hearing or seeing from leaders, influencers, or even peers doesn’t align with Jesus’ example, we must flee from it. If Jesus wouldn’t do it, neither should we. Let us discern carefully and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all we do. May your daily walk with Christ lead you to know Him deeply and experience the fullness of life only found through Jesus. Let us pray: *Holy. Holy. Holy God. You will always be Holy. Unchanging God, forever You will be holy. In reverence I come before You. Holy Spirit, fill Your people. Open their eyes to the tricks of the devil. Give us the courage to stand firm to Your Word. Work on the hearts of influencers who are believers. Warn them of the consequences of misleading Your sheep. Yahweh, may more people feel the grieving of the Holy Spirit and pray for this world. Lord, we need You. Amen.* My Friend, be a blessing and be blessed today. 🙏🏾 #God #Jesus #dailybibleverse #dailymotivation #Godfirst #glorytoGod #verseoftheday #Prayer #Worship #Bible #faith #truth #dailybiblestudy #crazyfaith #leadership

Wise hollow

I created 4 powerful devotional messages that encouraged me on my health journey. Here is message 2 of 4. I'm sharing in case you need encouraging too on your journey! Love to hear your feedback 😀 **Disciplined by Design: A Devotional on Staying the Course** ***Focus Scripture:*** “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” – 1 Corinthians 9:27 (NKJV) ***Reflection*** Discipline isn’t punishment. It’s following a daily path of wise instruction. When we hear the word “discipline,” many of us think of rigidity or restriction. But in God’s kingdom, discipline is an act of alignment. It’s choosing to walk in step with God’s wisdom, even when the world and our flesh try to pull us off course. We face constant temptations: * Brain-hijacking foods * Emotional triggers * Fatigue * Comparison with others * Discouragement And yet, the apostle Paul reminds us that we are not powerless. “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection…” Discipline is not about harshness. It is about training. Just as an athlete prepares to run with endurance, we train our bodies to serve the Spirit, not sabotage it. When we eat with intention, move with purpose, and rest with reverence, we are declaring: “Lord, this body belongs to You. Use it for Your glory.” Without discipline, even the most passionate messages we preach to others can ring hollow because the battle is being lost privately. But when we submit our bodies to God’s wisdom daily, step by step, meal by meal, breath by breath, we become living testimonies of His power to transform. ***Prayer*** Father, thank You for giving me the ability to choose discipline through Your strength. Help me walk the path of wise instruction each day. When temptation whispers, remind me of who I am. When stress weighs me down, lift me up with Your truth. Let my body, my habits, and my choices reflect Your goodness and grace. I submit myself, spirit, soul, and body, to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ***Action Prompt*** Ask yourself: What one discipline today would best serve the woman I’m becoming in Christ? Write it down, and walk it out in faith. 🙏🥰🙌

MY DIVINE SOUL FOOD GOD SPOKE AND IT HAPPENED. Proverbs 18:21 nkjv 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Good day Saints of God. God has given us the most powerful instrument called the tongue. It can build or destroy your life. The words that comes out of your tongue has the power to create or tear down. As Christians, we are called to use our words to edify and encourage others, not to hurt or destroy. Lets see what the Bible says; - *Proverbs 18:21*: "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." - *Matthew 12:36-37*: "But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." - *Ephesians 4:29*: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Our words can bring life or death, blessing or cursing. It can edify and encourage, or it can hurt and destroy. Our words can influence others for good or evil. Be very careful before you speak. - As Christians, we are called to use our words wisely: Take time to think before speaking, considering the impact of our words. Use your words to speak life and blessing, rather than death and cursing.Let it edify and encourage others, rather than to hurt or destroy. Wounds can heal easily but words spoken harshly goes straight to the heart and causes deep unseen pain and hurt. From today, be mindful of what you speak. Your words frame the future you walk into. DEVOTION FOR 2ND MARCH 2025 Your Record Is On High ‭‭Job‬ ‭16:4-5, 17, 19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “I also could speak as ye do: If your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, And shake mine head at you. But I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the moving of my lips should asswage your grief. Not for any injustice in mine hands: Also my prayer is pure. Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, And my record is on high. My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.” Imagine yourself being gravely ill and becoming excited when your friends visit, as you look forward to their prayers and encouraging words, only to hear words of accusation and condemnation. That was Job’s experience! Job had done nothing wrong. As a matter of fact, he was described in Job chapter 1 as “perfect and upright”, and God had only allowed the enemy to touch his body to prove his faithfulness. Job was obviously disappointed in his friends, for he said, “If your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, And shake mine head at you. But I would strengthen you with my mouth, And the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.” If you were in my place, Job said, I would be giving you words of strength and comfort. Throughout all of the accusations, however,Job could say with confidence, “my prayer is pure. Also now, behold, my witness is in heaven, And my record is on high. My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.” What is your reaction when your friends, loved ones, and associates turn against you? Do you grow bitter resentful, or hopeless? Or do you stand firm in your faith knowing that your “record is on high”, and God has you covered? (This song is for inspirational purposes only. We own no rights to this music.) https://youtu.be/hXsiWoyjw60?si=o_gq3vcQi14x2ouY www.dailyfoodforsoulandspirit.com

Yahweh, may the reader see You and not me. Holy Spirit, speak and fill us. Let it be Your words, not mine, and help us see Jesus in Scripture. *** Feel the power of this verse. Dominion belongs to God. He has total authority over all things. Awe belongs to God. It is He who should fill us with wonder and praise. God established order in creation and calls us to live within His Kingdom order. Are you living in that order? God first, above all things. Then yourself, your spouse, your children, your workplace, your church, your friends, and finally your hobbies. Jesus taught us the greatest commandment: to love God, and then to love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). True order begins with loving God, knowing your worth in Him, and allowing that love to overflow into all other relationships. May your daily walk with Christ lead you to know Him deeply and experience the fullness of life only found through Jesus. Let us pray: *Creator God. My God who has dominion forever and ever. Everlasting God. I praise You. Fill me Holy Spirit. I need Your words and never mine. Awesome and wonderful ruler, I sing praises to Your Holy Name. You are so wonderful. So marvelous. Amazing. Mighty King. Savior. Abba Father. My entire being is filled with joy in Your presence. With reverence to You, we pray. Yahweh, I want to be where You are. I am so desperate to praise and honor. Desperate for more of You. Yahweh, never fully quench my thirst and hunger for You. I want more. I need more. Lord, thank You for Your divine order. In all things I will seek to place You first. Help me to also take care of me. If I am not healthy in all areas of my life then chaos will take place. Help me to love myself so that I can love others. Help me to represent the kingdom well. I lay all before You. Glory be to You, my God. Amen* My Friend, be a blessing and be blessed today. 🙏🏾 #God #Jesus #dailybibleverse #dailymotivation #Godfirst #glorytoGod #verseoftheday #Prayer #Worship #Bible #faith #truth #dailybiblestudy #crazyfaith #leadership

sermon

Bible Study Verse for Today: Matthew 6:33 Scripture: "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."– Matthew 6:33 (ESV) Observation: This verse comes from Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount, where He encourages us to prioritize God’s kingdom and righteousness above all else. The "all these things" refer to our daily needs—food, clothing, shelter, and everything that sustains our lives. Jesus is reminding us that if we focus on God’s will and live according to His standards, He will take care of our needs. It’s not about what we can get or gain, but about trusting that when we live in alignment with God’s plan, everything else falls into place. This is a call to shift our focus from worry about material needs to faith in God's provision. Application: In today’s fast-paced world, it’s so easy to get caught up in the race for success, comfort, or security. But Jesus calls us to prioritize the Kingdom of God—to seek His will, His Word, and His righteousness first. Take a moment today to reflect on where your focus is. Are you putting God first in your decisions? Are you trusting His provision and relying on Him for your needs? When you do, He promises that all other things will be taken care of. Today, let’s commit to putting God's kingdom above everything else—seeking His righteousness and trusting in His faithfulness. Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your faithful promises. I declare that today, I will seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness. Help me to trust You more deeply with every area of my life. I surrender my worries and anxieties to You, knowing that You will provide for my every need. I choose to focus on Your will and Your purpose, trusting that as I do, You will take care of everything else. In Jesus' name, Amen. Prophetic Declarations 1. I declare that as I seek God’s Kingdom first, His provision will overflow in every area of my life. 2. I declare that my trust in God’s faithfulness will lead to peace, purpose, and abundance, as He adds all good things to me. 3.I declare that today, I choose righteousness over worry, and I stand firm in the assurance that God is working all things together for my good. Today, I am prioritizing the Kingdom of God over everything else. I trust that as I put God first, He will provide for every need and bring His blessings into my life. I choose faith over fear, and righteousness over worry. His promises are true, and I stand in confidence that He is with me and for me.
