God has given us the most powerful instrument called the tongue. It can build or destroy your life. The words that comes out of your tongue has the power to create or tear down. As Christians, we are called to use our words to edify and encourage others, not to hurt or destroy. Lets see what the Bible says; - *Proverbs 18:21*: "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." - *Matthew 12:36-37*: "But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." - *Ephesians 4:29*: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Our words can bring life or death, blessing or cursing. It can edify and encourage, or it can hurt and destroy. Our words can influence others for good or evil. Be very careful before you speak. - As Christians, we are called to use our words wisely: Take time to think before speaking, considering the impact of our words. Use your words to speak life and blessing, rather than death and cursing.Let it edify and encourage others, rather than to hurt or destroy. Wounds can heal easily but words spoken harshly goes straight to the heart and causes deep unseen pain and hurt. From today, be mindful of what you speak. Your words frame the future you walk into.
