Here's a one minute clip from yesterday's sermon and one simple reminder. When our past hurts carry into present experiences, God's giving us an opportunity to heal from what we've harbored that has only hardened our hearts. There won't be any hard hearts in heaven.

Hold Nothing Back—The Promise Is Activated by Faith “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son… in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” (Genesis 22:16–18, NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3g:16, NKJV) From the beginning, God had an unchanging plan—a promise of redemption and blessing for every nation. He was searching for someone who would believe Him, trust Him completely, and hold nothing back. Abraham was that man. When God called Abraham to offer up Isaac, the child of promise, Abraham obeyed without reserve. Isaac, born by God’s promise, carried the wood for his own sacrifice up the mountain—just as, centuries later, Jesus Christ, the ultimate Son of promise, would carry His cross up Calvary. God watched Abraham’s faith in action and responded: “By Myself I have sworn… because you have not withheld your son, your only son… in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed…” (Genesis 22:16–18, NKJV). This was more than a test; it was a prophetic moment. Abraham’s obedience opened the door for God’s eternal plan. The “seed” was Christ Himself (Galatians 3:16)—the Savior who would come, not by human effort, but by divine promise, to bless all nations. Abraham’s faith unlocked the way for Jesus to be revealed, for the gospel to reach every family on earth. The same principle remains true today: Once you believe, God’s promises for you are activated. God did not withhold anything from Abraham—and when Abraham believed and obeyed, God held nothing back from the world. He gave His only Son. Jesus, knowing the plan from the beginning, willingly carried His cross. He fulfilled the promise with total surrender. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32, NKJV) This is not just history—it’s a living truth for you and your family, right now. If Abraham had doubted or withheld, the promise would have been delayed. But because he believed, the blessing came. The same is true for you: When you truly believe God’s promises, you open the way for His blessing, provision, and destiny to flow into your life and your family. Faith that holds nothing back releases a God who holds nothing back. “Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’” (Mark 9:23, NKJV) Today, God is searching for faith like Abraham’s. He is looking for those who will hold nothing back—who will believe His word, obey His voice, and trust His plan. When you do, His promises come alive. They are not just for Abraham, not just for the past, but for anyone who will believe—now. Your family can be blessed, your destiny can be fulfilled, your future can be changed—if you will believe. Don’t hold back. Respond in faith. Believe God’s promises for you, and watch as He does what only He can do. God held nothing back for you. Jesus was born by promise, lived in obedience, carried the cross, and rose again so that you might receive every promise of God. Today, as you believe, the blessing and destiny prepared for you and your house can be unlocked. This is your moment. Hold nothing back. Activate the promise by faith. The God who gave all for you is ready to fulfill His word in your life—now. #AriseForChrist

VERSE INSPIRATIONS with Mazino Abraham Egbuwoku [Vol. 123] No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬ There is undeniable hope and victory ahead, waiting for you to seize with faith. This powerful verse assures us that no trial or temptation you face can consume you. God is faithful, and He will provide a solution perfectly designed for your situation. If you find yourself in a desert today, trust that God is bringing forth an oasis of water. Align with His Word and expect miraculous provision in your life. If the weight of your circumstances feels overwhelming, hold firmly to this truth and visualize the liberation that God has promised. Do not be like the faithless and grumbling Israelites who grieved God with their constant unbelief, always complaining, “Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?” (Psalms 78:19) Instead, see the way out. Acknowledge that help is on its way. Recognize that no challenge is too great to consume you. Each obstacle has a specific escape route, and confidently declare that you are finding and navigating that path made just for you. It’s time to move around your space, declaring these truths with authority. Walk boldly and proclaim: "Everyone around me will witness the incredible miracles our God is performing in my life. He is making a way where there seems to be no way, just as He did at the Red Sea. His power is unmatched, and His favor upon me is unstoppable. I celebrate His goodness and rejoice in His presence. Our God is all-powerful and reigns forever. He is always watching over me, guiding me, and protecting me from harm. My life is securely in His hands, and He keeps my feet from slipping. You, O God, are refining me like silver, purifying my heart, and making me stronger. Though You have allowed me to go through the fire and the flood, You are leading me into a place of abundance and joy. Your presence in my life is the greatest miracle of all, and I rejoice that You are with me!" Let this verse take command of your thoughts. Embrace the promise within this scripture and watch it become "spirit and life" to you. The revelation of God’s Word will come alive and transform your situation, just as He has promised We trust you were blessed by this message and would love to hear your reflections. God never promised a life without battles—He promised victory through His presence. The enemy may rise, circumstances may seem overwhelming, and people may stand against you, but their plans will not succeed. Why? Because the Lord Himself stands with you as your Deliverer. When God is on your side, every fight ends in your favour. --- 🙏🏽 Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being my constant shield and deliverer. Even when the storms rise and opposition comes, I trust that You are with me. Strengthen my heart to stand firm in faith, knowing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Some boys wear dresses, like JVN… And your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. How dare you! Tunics aren’t dresses! Except, in the modern sense, they absolutely are. Google “first century jewish tunic.” I’ll give you a minute. Now tell me, army of outrage, if a man were to walk into a bar in 2025 wearing that single piece garment… You’d probably say to yourself, “that guy is wearing a dress.” Wouldn’t you? Modern folks might call this person queer, non-binary, or trans… And some in the church might call them damned. But gender norms (social expectations based on gender) have varied widely across history. And the church’s obsession with those who don’t present themselves according to the latest norm is weak. Because if men aren’t supposed to wear dresses, why did Jesus? And before you start shouting Deuteronomy at me, I covered that too. I even let Paul, who has a tendency to be a little heavy handed on this topic, weigh in. If you’re someone who excludes people from rightness with God based on gender expression… It’s time to make that judgment make sense. After all, Jesus didn’t seem to mind it. "My journey into faith and with faith and through faith is primarily to do with seeking a direct connection and communication with the Divine," Tim Gee explains—and for a long time, that led (as it has for many Friends) to Scripture taking a back seat. "As I've experienced a number of things, though, I've found great companionship with different people in the Bible—wonderful empathy as I observe them seeking a direct relationship with the Divine, trying to understand what it is God wants them to do."

🌀 “The Father is greater than I.” — What did Jesus mean? (John 14:28) Someone recently asked a very sincere question: If Jesus said the Father is greater than Him, does that mean Jesus isn't fully God? What a powerful and important question—one that shows a deep desire to know God better. And I’ll be honest, thinking about these things has helped me grow in my understanding and love for God too. So here’s what I’ve come to see: 💡 When Jesus said, “The Father is greater than I,” He was speaking during His time on earth—after He had humbled Himself and taken on the role of a servant. Philippians 2:6–7 explains it beautifully: “Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges…” (NLT) Jesus didn’t stop being divine. He chose to submit Himself to the Father’s will for the sake of our salvation. 🕊 After His resurrection, Jesus said: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” (Matthew 28:18) And we read in 1 Corinthians 15:28 that when God’s final victory is complete, Jesus will again submit to the Father—not because He’s lesser, but because of the perfect unity and love within the Trinity. So yes, in His earthly mission, the Father was “greater” in role. But not in worth. Not in essence. ✝️ Jesus also said: “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30) “Before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58) These are clear claims to divinity. And let’s not forget: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) 🌊 The Trinity is not three gods—it’s one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Equal in nature. Different in role. Bound together in love, forever. And here’s what’s beautiful to me: Asking these kinds of questions doesn’t pull us away from God—it draws us closer. God wants us to know Him (Jeremiah 29:13). And the more I search, the more I fall in love with His wisdom, His mercy, and His breathtaking complexity.
