The Southern Gold Coast is home to one of the most important remaining populations of Koalas in the world. Loopholes in Koala protections are glaring, despite being classed as endangered at both a state and national level. 🐨⚠️ Our Gold Coast Koalas need us 🐨⚠️ In the aftermath of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, Currumbin Wildlife Hospital admitted 4x times more than the regular intake. Disaster relief is urgently needed for carers and hospital staff to support local wildlife, including Koalas.
