Community News update, Adelaide ! 2nd July 2025 South Australian Parliament, Adelaide In a heartfelt recognition of humanitarian efforts that transcend borders, Mr Shalinder Laroia, Founder of the Firozpur Foundation, Punjabi based NGO ,was formally felicitated at the South Australian Parliament House by the Hon. Michelle Lensink MLC. Mr Laroia was joined by Mr Kanwaldeep (KD) Singh, Trustee of MILAAP—a South Australian multicultural initiative that has played a key role in identifying and celebrating individuals making a lasting impact in the community. MILAAP was instrumental in bringing Mr Laroia’s inspiring work to light, helping connect his story to leaders and changemakers across Australia. Hon.
