The stages of drinking... So much of a difference from the beginning to end. I was lost and had no idea. The whole time I thought I was extroverted - I was just drunk. Mingling with everyone and not really knowing anyone. Trading my deep connections for comfortable surface level conversations. Feels good to be on the other side. The other side where I open up when I'm comfortable, not where Sauvignon Blanc is running through my veins. On this side I feel grounded. I feel at peace.
