Held in the peaceful sanctuary of Tall Totara Yoga Studio, this 2-hour journey is a sacred invitation to come home to your body, heart, and spirit. During the session, we will also share a warm cup of cacao — a gentle offering to support presence and heart connection. 🗓 Date: Friday, 25 July 2025 ⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM 📍 Venue: Tall Totara Yoga Studio, 84 The Bullock Track, Mahurangi West 0983 🎟️ Exchange: $65 per person 📌 Spaces are limited – bookings essential Booking Link: https://events.humanitix.com/yoga-with-sound-healing-mahurangi-west-july-2025 🌸 What to Expect • Gentle Yoga with Cheryl – A yoga teacher trained with Ashram Yoga (300-hour Intermediate Level, RYT-approved), guiding you through slow and grounding movements to release tension, connect with the breath, and open space for inner awareness. • A Cup of Warming Cacao – Offered to support grounding, heart connection, and presence as we transition into stillness. • Sound Bath with Phoebe – A certified sound healing practitioner (The Sound Healing Academy), leading a multi-layered meditative sound journey featuring crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, shamanic drum, and chimes — all to promote deep rest, energetic healing, and nervous system balance. 🌿 What to Bring: Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, cushion or pillow, eye mask, and water bottle – and most importantly, an open heart Chairs can be provided if lying down isn’t comfortable – just let us know in advance. ⏳ Doors open at 5:50 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in. 🚗 Free parking is available outside the venue. ⚠ Contraindications: Not suitable for individuals with sound-induced epilepsy or those in the first trimester of pregnancy. There are many rituals throughout history and within various cultures that intentionally honour this powerful abundant time of the year. The energy of summer is all about abundance, passion, joy and vitality. This is the perfect time for us to come together to move, breathe, connect & align our intentions with the energy of this abundant season. In rhythm with nature, this yoga practice will provide time to pause & reflect on the year so far and time to connect with the yang energy within nature we will explore the expansive, outward looking, uplifting energy provided by the solstice. Through a series of yoga flow sequences, poses & various breathing techniques we will celebrate abundance, joy & liberation with gratitude, rootedness and inner peace. 7:30-8pm 💫 Nourishment 3 minute walk to the studio Snack & Chat Herbal Tea & a healthy Nourishing Snack will be provided. 8-9pm 💫 Summer Solstice Sound Meditation with Carly Space to Move studio Together we will take a pause to reflect on the abundance of nature and light at this moment, exploring how we may embody the energy of the solstice. A sound meditation is a deep listening practice where you will be immersed in vibrations and frequencies of singing bowls, sun gong, chimes, and therapeutic percussion, to guide you into a meditative state that provides space for you to listen to what's happening within. In this restful, meditative state, your body is encouraged to soften, helping to regulate your nervous system and open up your body's natural restorative abilities, and may help you to tune into your emotions, imagination, and intuition. As you settle into each posture, the resonant tones of bronze singing bowls will guide you into profound states of rest. Vibrational Sound Therapy has a deeply calming effect on both body and mind, helping to quiet mental chatter, enhance internal awareness, and deepen your connection to the present moment. Like other forms of meditation, sound therapy nurtures mindfulness while inviting a sense of harmony within and beyond. This Sunday evening class is the perfect way to wind down from your week and set intentions for the days ahead. The room will be cozy, the candles aglow, and the atmosphere infused with tranquility. No prior experience is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to receive. Leave feeling deeply relaxed, restored, and renewed.
