Compose a moving “#Ecological Symphony” on the plateau! 🏜 In August 2021, the Nagqu - Lhasa #Expressway, constructed with #CREC's participation, opened to traffic, marking another remarkable achievement in plateau infrastructure. Built at an average altitude of over 4,500 meters, it is the world’s highest-altitude expressway and the first to connect #Lhasa with #Nagqu, reducing travel time from over 6 hours to just 3 hours. During construction, the route design was optimized to protect the fragile environment. The Yangbajing-Nagqu section features 145 #bridges, with special passages for yaks and sheep beneath them to minimize impact on wetlands and grasslands. This project exemplifies green development, creating a harmonious blend of progress and ecological preservation on the #plateau. 🥰

Sa kawalan ng traffic lights at maayos na pamamahala, ikinukumpara na ng ilan ang sitwasyon sa Santiago sa notorious na trapiko ng EDSA sa Metro Manila. Ayon sa mga residente, isa sa mga pangunahing sanhi ng trapik ay ang kawalan ng traffic lights sa mga pangunahing interseksyon ng lungsod. “Hindi kami makapaniwala na sa modernong panahon ngayon, wala pa ring traffic lights sa Santiago. Para na talagang EDSA dito kapag rush hour – puro bara, puro usad-pagong,” sabi ng isang netizen. Reklamo rin nila ang kakulangan ng mga traffic enforcers mula sa DPOS. Ayon sa kanila, darating lamang ang mga kawani kapag nagkabuhol-buhol na ang trapiko. “Hindi ba dapat nakaantabay na sila bago pa magsimula ang rush hour? Bakit laging huli ang galaw nila?” dagdag pa ng isang commuter. Dagdag pa ng mga residente, mas lalo silang nangangamba na lumala pa ang sitwasyon kapag nagbukas na ang dalawang bagong mall sa lungsod. “Kung ngayon pa lang halos hindi na makagalaw ang mga sasakyan, paano pa kaya sa susunod? Mukhang hindi handa ang pamunuan ni Mayor Sheena Tan sa ganitong problema,” ani ng isang tricycle driver. Nanawagan ang mga residente kay Mayor Tan na magpatupad ng konkretong solusyon, tulad ng paglalagay ng traffic lights sa mga pangunahing kalsada at pagdagdag ng mga traffic enforcer na nakaantabay bago pa magkaipitan sa daan. “Mukhang nakakalimutan nila na kami ang naaapektuhan araw-araw.
