Compose a moving “#Ecological Symphony” on the plateau! 🏜 In August 2021, the Nagqu - Lhasa #Expressway, constructed with #CREC's participation, opened to traffic, marking another remarkable achievement in plateau infrastructure. Built at an average altitude of over 4,500 meters, it is the world’s highest-altitude expressway and the first to connect #Lhasa with #Nagqu, reducing travel time from over 6 hours to just 3 hours. During construction, the route design was optimized to protect the fragile environment. The Yangbajing-Nagqu section features 145 #bridges, with special passages for yaks and sheep beneath them to minimize impact on wetlands and grasslands. This project exemplifies green development, creating a harmonious blend of progress and ecological preservation on the #plateau. 🥰
