What will the 200 hour training cover? • Asana- components of poses vs alignment, benefits, cues, modifications, props and Sanskrit names. • Lesson planning, class settings, delivering a class and the skills needed to accommodate all abilities teach them safely. • Teaching methods-demonstrating visually, verbally with internal and external cueing. • Functional breathing and basic Pranayama. • Practical anatomy and physiology from a perspective of joint movement and function. • Subtle body-Chakras, Bandhas, Mudras, Ayurveda and meditation. • Yogic philosophy • Business skills • Teaching over the duration of the course to develop teaching skills and confidence. • Guest lecturers with expertise in their fields. • On going support & mentorship after the course.
