NOW HIRING!!! 1.0 Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist Application Deadline: 03/30/2025 Job Summary: The Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing cardiac and Interventional examinations as required by staff physicians. Hours: - 1.0 FTE - 40 Hours Per Week - Hours are based on the procedure schedule Essential Job Functions: • Provides technologist services for Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology and vascular imaging. • Works with the PACS system • Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations • Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions • Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position, set up sterile field in conjunction with procedure • Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors. • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; following drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast media. • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Regular and prompt work-site attendance. • Other duties as they are assigned. Qualifications, Knowledge & Ability: • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S. • Active certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • Certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) and/or Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) within three years of hire • Previous experience working in a Cath Lab/IR Lab is a requirement • Must possess a Wisconsin radiographer license • Ability to relate and work effectively with others • BLS certification is required upon hire • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement • Is aware of professional standards and performs in accordance with them Benefits: - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance - Health Savings Account with an employer contribution - Company paid life insurance - Free meals - Free scrubs with laundry service - PTO - 401(k) retirement plan with 4% company match - Tuition reimbursement - Wellness reimbursement If interested, please apply online at www.oakleafsurgical.com/recruitment.htm
