Dr. Saland was born and raised in College Station, TX. She attended Harvard University for her undergraduate education and received her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After completing her internship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Saland completed her ophthalmology residency at Maryland General Hospital/Jonas Friedenwald Eye Institute. Dr. Saland’s passion and ability to maintain and protect vision is reflected in patient satisfaction and confidence. She is a clinical associate professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and has been recognized for more than 15 years of dedicated service. Dr. Saland additionally serves on the internal medicine teaching faculty at Texas Health Dallas. In her free time, Dr. Saland loves to play tennis, travel, and spend time with family.
