The Manager will lead fundraising, marketing, and social media efforts to advance Al-Shifa Institute of Eye Care, USA and its partnership with Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospitals, Pakistan. Responsibilities include: Key Responsibilities 1. Fundraising & Donor Development ➡️Develop strategic fundraising to achieve annual and long-term goals. ➡️Partner with Al Shifa Trust to showcase patient success stories and boost donor engagement. ➡️Engage and secure support from global donors, sponsors, and diaspora communities. ➡️Organize and manage fundraising events, both in-person and virtual. ➡️Lead grant proposals for philanthropic, multifaith, and private agencies. 2. Marketing & Community Engagement ➡️Manage multi-platform promotional campaigns across print, electronic, and digital media. ➡️Build personal and professional ties to strengthen community networks. ➡️Boost visibility by representing the organization at key events and brand presence via social media and donor recognition. ➡️Share impactful success stories and eye care initiatives to build trust and credibility. 3. She attended Harvard University for her undergraduate education and received her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After completing her internship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Saland completed her ophthalmology residency at Maryland General Hospital/Jonas Friedenwald Eye Institute.
