In the Netherlands, we have a tradition similar to Halloween called Sint Maarten. Kids will go door to door and get candy. In my neighborhood, we have a rule that kids can only come to the door for candy between 6 and 7 PM. We have new neighbors and at 9 PM they decided to show up.
