Travelling with your baby this summer? Make sure they’re protected before you take off. Children ages 6–11 months are now eligible for an early dose of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine if they are travelling internationally or within Canada to areas with known measles activity. They’ll still need the regular 2-dose series later, but this early dose offers crucial protection right now. Measles spreads easily and Canada is currently experiencing its worst outbreak in decades.
