𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 & 𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 From the first moments that we met Nhi & Tom, inspirations just flowed so effortlessly. The couple didn’t just want a wedding at any venue—they wanted something iconic, something that represents not only their love but also their deep connection to culture. And for us, what could be more iconic than the Independence Palace, a landmark in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City? This wasn’t just a celebration of love; it was a gathering of cultures, with 300 guests from around the world coming together in this iconic place to celebrate one shared love. Our mission was to ensure that every detail honored both the couple and Vietnam’s rich traditions. Our idea was that to meet Nhi & Tom, guests would step into a reimagined traditional Vietnamese home: water jars, fabric strips hanging like the columns of an ancestral house, and hand-drawn bamboo images on the fabric that mirror the architectural motifs of the Palace. At the heart of the ceremony stood a trellis of gourds and squash, artistically shaped into the word Hỷ (Happiness). Under the incredible hand of our partner Cat Hoa, the word Hỷ (Happiness) transformed into Thọ (Longevity) when viewed from above. Every detail—from the venue, the decorations, to Nhi’s stunning Ao Dai, to the songs played at any moment—spoke of love, culture, and family. Despite the challenges posed by the city’s heaviest rain week, the skies cleared just in time for Nhi & Tom to say their vows under the sun, surrounded by their loved ones.
