His early research explored the molecular evolution of dengue viruses in the Caribbean, uncovering how geographical and geopolitical factors influence pathogen spread. Currently, as a Senior Lecturer and Biochemistry Unit Coordinator at UWI, Dr. Foster leads research in virology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, focusing on critical issues such as viral evolution, metabolic syndrome, and public health.
