With Sri Lanka's forest cover rapidly declining, conserving both State and private forest patches is critical to safeguard endemic and endangered species. The southwestern region, home to 50% of the population and most endemics, faces severe threats from urbanization, agricultural expansion, and poorly planned development. What is WNPS PLANT? He conceptualized PLANT, Emerald Trails, and Sri Lanka Leopard Day and serves as Editor of the Loris Journal. A published photographer and Business Transformation Practitioner, he has held multiple leadership roles, blending his passion for conservation, music, and the outdoors. Sriyan has served on several boards and contributed to local and global charities.
