Meet Emily Clayton, a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist at Center Counseling. Emily provides counseling services to male and female children, adolescents, and women 21 and older. She currently offers both in-person and telehealth counseling sessions. Emily can naturally create a warm and inviting atmosphere, allowing individuals to feel safe and comfortable. Whether you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, navigating a lifetransition, or simply seeking personal growth, her goal is to support you in understanding yourself better and building the tools needed to cope with life's ups and downs. Emily aims to empower her clients to build resilience, find clarity, and embrace the changes they wish to see in themselves. Emily takes an integrative and strengths-based approach to therapy. She has experience helping those facing challenges with anxiety, depression, OCD, behavioral issues, stress management, trauma, and other life changes/challenges. She is also passionate aboutsupporting individuals during the perinatal and postpartum stages of life. She has additional training in trauma and OCD. Outside of counseling, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, coffee, watching movies,playing cards, and going on walks.
