NEW FEMALE GP! Yes ladies you heard correctly! Another NEW FEMALE GP!!! We are very excited to welcome Dr Chinyerum Owhondah to the Baldivis Atwick Terrace Family Medical Practice Team! Dr Owhondah is commonly known as “Dr Rum” to her colleagues and patients. Dr Rum was born in Nigeria. She graduated from the University of Ghana with a BSc (Medical Science) Degree in 2005 and was awarded her medical degree (MB ChB) in 2009. She has worked in the public and private sectors in Ghana between 2009 and 2017, then worked in the UK as a medical officer in Orthopedics, before undertaking her formal GP training. She was awarded her GP certification (MRCGP) in 2021 by the Royal College of General Practitioners. She has completed a post-CCT GP fellowship program and worked as a family GP and subsequently as a GP Principal (Partner) up until December 2024. She was the Quality outcome framework (QOF) co-lead for her previous practice in the UK. She is a warm, thoughtful and reflective GP who brings a unique multi-cultural and open-minded approach to her work and delivers a high standard of personalised care to her patients.
