【漁民的「契爺」——朱大仙The “Godfather” of Fishermen - Chu Tai Sin】 提到香港的大仙，許多人立刻會想到「有求必應」的黃大仙。然而，對於部分港澳漁民來說，還有一位共同尊崇的「契爺」——朱大仙。✨ 根據傳說，朱大仙是醫藥之神，並被認為是大禹的化身。水上人相信朱大仙能夠保佑航海安全，因此他們將其尊奉為「契爺」。🙏在面對重要事情時，漁民們會向契爺祈求「聖意」，並在船上⛵或家中設置他的神像，供奉祭拜，祈求保佑。 每年農曆五月中上旬，港澳漁民會在內港海面舉行朱大仙醮，祈求平安，例如香港仔合勝堂每年舉辦的朱大仙醮，活動內容包括灑淨、誦經、開印、大蒙山施食、供天、封印、金榜開光、水幽、過關、陸幽、讚星轉運、卜杯和送神等儀式。2014年，香港仔合勝堂的朱大仙醮被正式列入「香港非物質文化遺產清單」，這不僅是對傳統文化的肯定，也讓更多人了解這一獨特的漁民信仰。📜 想了解更多水上信仰的有趣知識，快來參觀香港海事博物館B層！ When it comes to Hong Kong's Tai Sin (deities), many people immediately think of Wong Tai Sin, known for his "wish-fulfilling" powers. However, for some fishermen in Hong Kong and Macau, there is another revered figure known as the "Godfather" — Chu Tai Sin. ✨ Legend has it that Chu Tai Sin is the god of medicine and is also seen as the incarnation of Da Yu. Fishermen believe he can ensure safe journeys at sea, and honor him as "Godfather." 🙏 When important matters arise, they turn to Chu Tai Sin for guidance, setting up his statue on their boats ⛵ or in their homes to offer prayers and seek his blessings. Every year during the fifth lunar month, Hong Kong and Macau fishermen hold a ritual called the “Chu Tai Sin Jiao” in the inner harbor to pray for safety at sea, such as the Chu Tai Sin Jiao Festival organized by the Hap Sing Tong in Aberdeen. The festivities include cleansing, chanting scriptures, opening the seal, liberating the flaming mouths, making offerings to heaven, closing the seal, an enshrinement ceremony for the villagers’ name list, water ghost pacification, striding through the gates, land ghost pacification, praising the constellations to reverse fortunes, throwing divination blocks, and sending off deities, among others. In 2014, the Chu Tai Sin Jiao Festival organized by the Hap Sing Tong in Aberdeen was included in the “Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory of Hong Kong."
