🚨 𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 - 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Head Chef to oversee all back of house catering operations at Brands Hatch circuit. This role is part of an exciting restructure of the catering team and will involve working closely with our new Catering Manager to deliver exceptional food offerings across all areas at the circuit including restaurants, race day hospitality and corporate events. The role will involve (as a very brief overview): - Overseeing the back of house operations across all catering and hospitality outlets (three restaurants, up to fifty VIP boxes and two floors of corporate hospitality) - Developing catering and hospitality menus that cater for a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements - Plan and execute catering services for a variety of events, including race day hospitality, corporate functions, and conferences - Recruiting, training and managing kitchen staff to ensure efficient and seamless operations Requirements for the role: - Proven experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level in a high volume, fast-paced environment - A passion for delivering high quality food - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong financial acumen and cost-control abilities - Relevant food, safety and hygiene qualifications Due to the nature of our race events, regular weekend and evening work will be required, particularly during the race season (March to November). Through the winter months, workload is reduced. The successful candidate will also require a full UK driving licence and undergo a basic DBS check. As we are expecting the Head Chef to spend a considerable about of time preparing and cooking in the kitchen, we would consider a Sous Chef looking to step up to the next level.
