Living by Faith in Challenging Times

Dear Friend, We live in a world full of challenges. Even when it seems like the world has turned upside down, I want you to know that you are not alone. Yes, we have an adversary. More than that, we have our God who is mighty and He is not far off—He is near and He is ready to fight for us. The Lord warned us of danger ahead, and He told us how to handle ourselves. “Stay alert. This is hazardous work I’m assigning you. You’re going to be like sheep running through a wolf pack, so don’t call attention to yourselves. Be as shrewd as a snake, inoffensive as a dove.” Matthew 10:16 (MSG) We know that the Lord Jesus promised to return, and we are wise to look for His appearing. But until the day that Jesus returns, He’s commissioned us to live by faith. As the prophet Habakkuk said, In a little while, only a little longer, the One who is coming will come without delay. 38 But My righteous one must live by faith, for if he gives up his commitment, My soul will have no pleasure in him. 39 My friends, we are not those who give up hope and so are lost; but we are of the company who live by faith and so are saved. Hebrews 10:37-39 (VOICE) Do you want to please God until Jesus comes back for us? If so, then determine in your heart to walk by faith. Don’t shrink back when you hear bad news or if you see someone who appears to be blessed even when they live for the devil. Our Lord is coming, and He will not delay! Let’s live by faith and encourage one another until Jesus returns, and His appearing splits the eastern sky! What a day that will be!
