Finding Strength Meditation Classes

Join our 'Finding Strength in Uncertain Times' meditation classes in Eglinton/Yonge, every Thursday, 7:00 to 8:15pm, starting May 8, at the First Christian Reformed Church. 🧘‍♂️ Price - $15 per class or $75 for the full 6-week series How can we stay positive in a world filled with uncertainty, turmoil, and constant change? In these meditation classes, we will learn Buddhist meditations that enable us to transform the challenges and pain we encounter - both around us and within us - into opportunities for personal growth and spiritual development. As a result, we will cultivate qualities such as compassion and wisdom, while building the inner resilience necessary to face life’s daily challenges with courage and clarity. These classes include two guided meditations and a practical talk on a weekly topic. After each class, there is time for Q&A. Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. You can book online or register in person on the day of the class. You do not need to bring anything with you, and the meditation is conducted on chairs (though you are welcome to bring a cushion if you prefer). The Teacher 🧘‍♂️ Gen Chodor is the Resident Teacher at KMC Canada. With over twenty-two years of studying and practicing Buddhist meditation, he is known for his warm presentations and authentic teachings. He is also appreciated for his natural joy and sense of humor, inspiring people to discover their own inner source of happiness.
