עברית בהמשך The Haftarah for Parshat Va’era speaks to us about courage and the sanctification of God’s name - especially in times like these. We see God’s hand in miraculous protections during this war, but as President and Rosh HaYeshiva of Ohr Torah Stone Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander explains, God’s miracles alone are not enough; the sanctification of His name is also achieved through human commitment. This is evident in the bravery of those whose loved ones' murderers are being released as part of the hostage deal, yet support it despite their unimaginable pain. It is seen in bereaved families, wounded soldiers, and the families of hostages, all showing incredible, inspirational strength and resilience. Through these acts of both divine and human courage, we pray to witness the ultimate sanctification of God’s name, the safe return of all hostages, and the end of suffering and war.
