On the 10th of July, I had the honour of speaking at The Power of Your Mind Conference, which, by God's leading, I hosted in Agbor for the students of the University of Delta. There, I engaged with hundreds of bright students on the importance of renewing the mind and unlocking the greatness within. Drawing from the timeless truths in Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome’s bestselling book, “The Power of Your Mind,” I challenged the students to dream bigger, think higher, and refuse to be ordinary in a world that needs extraordinary minds. One powerful truth from the book states: "When your spirit is in sync with God's Spirit through His Word, your mind becomes a channel for divine ideas, wisdom, and direction. Fulfillment is not found in material things but in discovering and walking in God's purpose for your life." This revelation reaffirms that true success begins from within — when we yield our minds to the leading of the Spirit. In collaboration with the Loveworld Teens & Youth Ministry, Warri Centre, this initiative is part of a broader vision to raise mentally empowered youths and purpose-driven leaders for Christ across Delta State and Nigeria at large On the following day, the 11th of July, we also held a powerful session at the KFT Event centre, Ugboroke, Effurun, of this same conference for over 2,000 teachers across Udu, Warri South, and Uvwie LGAs. Our teachers are the torchbearers of tomorrow’s leaders, and equipping them with this knowledge is a step toward a better Delta. This is more than just a conference — it is a movement of transformation. A mentally strong society is an unstoppable society. I remain eternally grateful to my father in the Lord, Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, for birthing such a powerful book that continues to shape minds, renew destinies, and awaken purpose in this generation. Thank you, Sir, for your obedience to God and for leading us with such profound insight and grace. Let’s keep building minds. Let’s keep building the future.

עברית בהמשך In the Haftarah for Parashat Mishpatim, Yirmiyahu delivers a powerful message to Bnei Yisrael: If we fail to live up to God’s expectation to build a just society, we are unworthy of His ultimate blessing in our sacred homeland. Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander, President and Rosh HaYeshiva of Ohr Torah Stone, explains why this message remains so relevant today. Hamas alone bears full and unquestionable responsibility for the horrific attack on October 7. There is no justification for such evil. At the same time, as a people rooted in Torah, we are always called to self-reflection—not to explain tragedy, but to ensure that we emerge from it stronger. Have we truly lived up to the Torah’s demands in how we relate to God and to one another? If we rise to that challenge, we will merit His ultimate blessing: “And I will return their captivity, and I will have mercy upon them.” (Yirmiyahu 33:26). We see God’s hand in miraculous protections during this war, but as President and Rosh HaYeshiva of Ohr Torah Stone Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander explains, God’s miracles alone are not enough; the sanctification of His name is also achieved through human commitment. This is evident in the bravery of those whose loved ones' murderers are being released as part of the hostage deal, yet support it despite their unimaginable pain. It is seen in bereaved families, wounded soldiers, and the families of hostages, all showing incredible, inspirational strength and resilience. Through these acts of both divine and human courage, we pray to witness the ultimate sanctification of God’s name, the safe return of all hostages, and the end of suffering and war.
