𝐘𝐀𝐃𝐈 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐮𝐠𝐮 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 “𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫” 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 In a momentous recognition of visionary leadership and tireless commitment to youth development, the Youths Awakening and Development Initiative (YADI) Nigeria has conferred its prestigious “Governor of the Year” Award on the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah This honour was bestowed in acknowledgment of the Governor’s outstanding contributions to the transformation of Enugu State through strategic investments in education, entrepreneurship, skills development, and youth inclusion in governance. The award was presented during YADI’s Business Growth Conference that was followed globally online, held recently in Enugu where 5 Youths were given N100,000 Business Grants and secondary Students got full tuition scholarships, and was officially received on behalf of the Governor by his Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, Hon. Frank Anioma, in his office — owing to the Governor’s unavoidable absence at the event. 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒈𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒄𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒋𝒐𝒃 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 — 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕,” Mr Nnamani declared He further emphasized that under the Mbah-led administration, young people across Enugu State have begun to experience real opportunities for growth, with revamped hope and a clear path to self-reliance. Receiving the award on behalf of the Governor, Hon. Frank Anioma expressed deep gratitude to YADI and commended the organization for its continuous efforts in awakening the potentials of youths across the state and beyond. He reassured the team of the Governor’s commitment to sustaining youth-friendly policies and supporting innovative grassroots initiatives. The “Governor of the Year” Award by YADI has become a notable recognition reserved for leaders who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing youth development and social impact. With this honour, YADI continues to spotlight leaders who inspire change and empower the next generation.
