Challenging the “No Time” Excuse: Let’s Reframe Your Health Priorities ⏰💪 As a holistic wellness coach, I hear “I don’t have time” often when it comes to health goals. It’s a valid feeling in our busy world, BUT... is it always the real reason holding you back? Let’s challenge that thought process directly 🔎 It’s often less about a lack of time and more about how we prioritize and leverage the minutes we do have. Let’s reframe a few common thoughts: Instead of: “I don’t have time to exercise.” Think: How much time did I spend hitting snooze, scrolling social media, watching another TV episode? Could 20 minutes of movement actually boost my energy and productivity for the next few hours? Often, yes! Instead of: “I don’t have time to cook healthy meals consistently.” Think: How much mental energy and time spent feeling sluggish could I save by prepping simple, energizing meals ahead? Could simplifying my cooking routine (hello sheet pan dinners!) free up weeknights? Instead of: “I don’t have time for the long workouts I think I need.” Think: Who decided effective workouts must mean hours in the gym? Could committing to a focused, 20-minute session 3-4 times a week deliver the results I want without hijacking my entire schedule? Instead of: “I don’t have time to figure out planning meals/workouts.” Think: Could investing 30 minutes once a week to sketch out a basic plan actually give me back time and precious mental energy during the busy week by eliminating ‘what’s next?’ syndrome?
