Estoy tendido, con el cuerpo cansado y la mente tensa como el pecho de quien no se permite llorar. Aunque no lo vea, a veces parece que el mundo gira sin mí, y otras, como esta, que se detiene solo para recordarme todo lo que intento no pensar.
Hay una ira quieta por dentro, como una grieta que no se ve, pero crece con cada paso.
Él está en casa. A salvo. Conmigo. Y lo sé, lo agradezco. Pero hay noches en las que ni el amor basta para calmar lo que uno lleva dentro. No es su culpa. Tampoco mía. Simplemente, hay momentos en los que todo pesa distinto. Todo cruje.
El calor de mi piel no es deseo, es un incendio. Esa mezcla rara entre querer desaparecer y que alguien te abrace tan fuerte que te recomponga.
No quiero palabras. Solo que el tiempo se apiade. Que estas noches pasen. Que deje de doler tanto. Porque estoy cansado de negar lo que, en el fondo, ya he aceptado.
Y la noche nunca pregunta por qué.

The heat of my skin isn’t desire, it’s a fire. That strange mix between wanting to disappear and needing someone to hold you tight enough to put you back together.
I don’t want words. Just for time to take mercy. For these nights to pass. For it to stop hurting so much. Because I’m tired of denying what, deep down, I’ve already accepted.
And the night never asks why.
