"Preach the Good News – A Call We Cannot Ignore" Mark 16:15 – “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Church, today I want to speak about something that is at the very heart of our faith—the preaching of the Gospel. The Good News. This is not just the pastor’s job. It’s not only for the missionary. It is the sacred duty and privilege of every believer who has been touched by the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If you’ve been redeemed… if you’ve been forgiven… if you’ve been given new life in Christ—then you’ve got something to say. You’ve got something to share. 1. Preaching the Gospel Is Obedience to Jesus Jesus did not suggest. He commanded. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” This is not just for apostles 2,000 years ago—it’s for us today. We are His hands and feet in this generation. When we open our mouths to speak of Christ, we’re not just spreading ideas—we are obeying the marching orders of our King. 2. The Gospel Is the Power of God for Salvation Romans 1:16 – “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” Do you know why we preach? Because the gospel is not just information—it is transformation. It breaks chains. It raises the dead to life. It saves souls from hell and delivers people into the arms of a loving Savior. You may not be a theologian. You may not have a microphone. But if you’ve been changed by the gospel, you carry with you the greatest power on earth: the message of salvation. 3. The World Is Hungry for Hope We live in a time of chaos. People are lost, confused, broken, addicted, angry, anxious. And while the world offers temporary solutions, the gospel offers eternal answers. The good news says: You are loved. You are forgiven. You are not alone. There is hope beyond the grave. 4. Preaching the Gospel Expands God’s Kingdom Every time the gospel is preached, light pushes back the darkness. Chains fall. Heaven rejoices. Hell trembles. It’s not just about getting people into church—it’s about getting Christ into people. Every soul saved is a life forever changed, and a testimony that spreads to others. 5. Sharing the Gospel Strengthens Your Faith Don’t think preaching only blesses the hearer. It blesses the preacher too. When you speak about what Jesus has done, it ignites your own faith. It reminds you who you are, where you came from, and the power of the cross. You start to walk differently, live boldly, and love more deeply. 6. Time Is Short – The Harvest Is Ripe Matthew 9:37 – “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” My friends, time is running out. People are dying without hearing about Jesus. We cannot afford to be silent. We can’t keep the Good News to ourselves. Let us be workers in the field. Let us preach while it is still day, for night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4). Let Us Be Faithful Messengers. Cut the drama. You don’t need a stage. Preach in your home. Preach on your social media. Preach through kindness. Preach with your life. And when God opens the door—speak the name of Jesus boldly. “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” – Romans 10:15 Let your feet be beautiful. Let your lips bring life. Let your voice ring with hope. Because the world needs to hear it, and you’ve been chosen to share it. Go and preach the Gospel. The world is waiting. #WithUrgency #ThereIsHope #TheGoodNews #YouMatter

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 𝟐𝟓:𝟏𝟎 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲. Gossip can ruin your reputation. Yet gossip is incredibly easy. Wise men will know you are wicked and will rebuke you, and you will be disgraced and shamed. The lesson is simple: do not talk critically or negatively about others; do not spread news or rumors; do not slander anyone. Gossip is a heinous sin, and it can permanently stain your reputation. This is half of a proverb. The first half says, “Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another” (Pr 25:9). Good men only discuss differences or offences with the person involved, not with others. If you tell others about a conflict with someone, those others will know you are hateful, malicious, and wicked. Jesus Christ taught the same rule of godliness and wisdom. He said, “Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone” (Matt 18:15). If you cannot ignore the offence of another, go tell him his fault. Instead of telling others about the problem, tell him alone. The rule is clear and definite. When you have a problem with someone, it is cruel and malicious to tell others about it. You do so in order to defame and injure the other party and obtain sympathy for your cause. You seek to hurt another person’s reputation and exalt your own. The holy God of heaven considers such intentions and actions to be murder (Matt 5:21-26). Beware! You should keep controversies and offences between you and your adversary. If you tell others about them, it is called gossip. In the Bible, it was called backbiting, talebearing, tattling, and whispering, if you told the truth. These are terrible sins that God hates. If you lied about the matter, then it was also called slander. It does not matter that these sins are popular today and no longer preached against: they are heinous in God’s sight. Godly men despise this evil treatment of others, and they will despise the person doing it. They will angrily rebuke those who gossip about others. It is a duty to do so. Solomon wrote, “The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue” (Pr 25:23). It is terrible that more wise men do not put backbiters, talebearers, whisperers, slanderers, and gossips to shame by angry rebukes (Lev 19:17; I Thess 5:14). If you have a problem with someone, and you cannot gloriously overlook it, go to him alone and settle it through Christian charity. Put a guard on your heart, and do not even think about telling others. Only say complimentary and kind things about other people. Let your reputation be glorious and gracious, always edifying others (Eph 4:29; Col 4:6). https://letgodbetrue.com/proverbs/index/chapter-25/proverbs-25-10/

Ideal healer

Crucifixion was for the worst criminals, the lowest of low. Put a man on a cross and people will mock him. In no way was a crucified Jesus the ideal figure to appeal to either jews or greeks. And yet, this was the exact Jesus that the apostles preached. We cannot get to the resurrected Jesus before we preach about the crucified Jesus. To show the Victor off you must reveal His task. The brutality Jesus went through on our behalf is proof of His undying, devotion and love for us. If we preach Him as no more than a healer, and a sweet, kind and gentle man then we have concealed the truth. We cannot reshape Him according to the ideals of the world. He is after all the one who made the world. The day Jesus was risen is the day He conquered the devil in all ways. Jesus shared His victory with us, making us co heirs with Him. The shadow of doubt that was cast over His followers was dramatically changed into the blinding light of hope and boldness. He came as a man and did what none of us could ever do- and the best part is He doesn't hold it against us. Instead He empowers us to do even greater things than He did. Now that is one amazing God we serve. All glory and honor to You Lord Jesus! With love, Clarissa

9"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name 's sake. 10And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. 11And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
