Ultimate sin
Easter is a celebration of the greatest victory in history! Jesus didn’t just rise. He rose in victory, was crowned in glory, and now reigns on the throne.
👑Jesus Didn’t Just Rise—He Was Exalted
After the resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven and was seated at the right hand of God, a position of ultimate authority. (Ephesians 1:20)
👑The Crown Wasn’t Just of Thorns—It Became One of Glory
The mockery of the crown of thorns was turned upside down. After conquering sin and death, Jesus received the crown of life and eternal kingship. (2 Timothy 4:8)
👑His Throne is Forever
Earthly kings come and go, but Jesus sits on a throne that will never be shaken. He is the King of kings, reigning with mercy, justice, and love. (Hebrews 1:8)
👑His Victory is Our Hope
Because He rose and now reigns, we’re not stuck in fear, shame, or defeat. His throne is proof that death doesn’t win—life in Him does. (John 14:19)
👑The Real King is Coming Back
Jesus is not a memory—He’s alive, crowned in glory, and one day He’s coming again to reign fully. (Revelation 19:12, 16)
Let the world decorate with eggs— we know the truth: our Savior wears a crown, sits on the throne, and reigns forever. Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come! (Revelation 4:8)

Safe church
HE HAS RISEN. HE HAS RISEN INDEED!!
Yes, our Lenten season has come to an end. We now are in the Season of Easter. During this time, we will hear of the interaction of Jesus with his disciples in a number of places, the upper room, on the shore of the Lake of Tiberias, and other places as well.
By this time, though still swirling in their minds if this is not a group hallucination, the disciples have encountered the Lord. He has encouraged them to go forth and proclaim the Good News, which is still the mission of the church today.
This mission is not just for those in Religious Life, but a mission which is given to each of us who are baptized into the death and resurrection of Jesus.
We may be very much like the early disciples. We say YES to the fact that Jesus is risen. We proclaim it in the Creed of our Church, and yet we have not yet seen the risen Lord appear to us. For most of us the resurrection is an article of faith, and maybe nothing more. And if we listen to the news, we may wonder that if God has just given us up to our own designs.
Pope Francis tells us today, "Jesus' hope is different. He plants in our hearts the conviction that God is able to make everything work unto good, because even from the grave he brings life."
Hopefully, we have tilled and prepared our garden so that what God has in mind to plant in our hearts takes root and brings forth much fruit.
A blessed and safe Easter Sunday to each of you. You all are in our prayers.
Peace and All Good,
the Bros and Srs of the
Franciscan House of Prayer.

Fulfilling grant
Easter Message to the Beloved People of St. Elizabeth/Daniel Quasi-Parish
Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
On this joyful Easter Sunday, I extend heartfelt greetings to each of you on behalf of myself and my assistant, Fr. Oliver Orbunde. As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, we are reminded of the profound love and hope that this day brings to our lives.
Easter is a time of renewal, a time to rejoice in the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair. It is a day that invites us to embrace the peace and love that comes from our faith in the risen Christ.
As we gather in spirit, let us remember those among us who are facing challenges. We hold in our hearts:
The sick**: May God’s healing touch be upon you, bringing comfort and strength.
Those experiencing economic hardships**: We pray for opportunities and relief, that you may find the support you need.
Those seeking employment**: May doors be opened, and may you find fulfilling work that brings purpose and joy.
Couples in crisis**: We ask for God’s grace to heal and restore your relationships, bringing understanding and reconciliation.
Families facing difficulties**: We pray for unity and healing, that love may prevail in your homes.
Parents of wayward children**: May God grant you patience and wisdom, and may your children find their way back to the path of love and faith.
As we reflect on the meaning of Easter, let us remember that we are never alone in our struggles. Christ walks with us, offering hope and guiding us through the trials of life. Let this season of resurrection inspire us to reach out to one another, to offer support and love, and to be a beacon of hope in our community.
May this Easter fill your hearts with joy, peace, and renewed faith. Together, let us celebrate the love of God that unites us, and may we carry that love into our families, our neighborhoods, and beyond.
Wishing you all a blessed and joyful Easter!
In Christ’s love,
Fr Peter and Fr Oliver

Bright glorious
𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 - 𝐀𝐧 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞.
Easter is a time for the celebration of God’s offer to us of reconciliation to Him through the Cross. The Cross represents Jesus’ defeat of sin and death on our behalf and provides a pathway for us back to God.
However, we live in very difficult times. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. Hope is in very short supply for many as we search desperately for who or what to turn to. Yet 𝐅𝐲𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐯𝐬𝐤𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞.
The death and resurrection of Jesus is the main pillar of our faith. This miracle gives us great hope and a bright new life, reminding us that even in the face of despair, there is always the possibility of 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲.
The Cross is a turning point for all of us. When Jesus rose from the grave, He made a way for everything broken to be restored, every sin to be forgiven, every wound to be healed and every pain to be relieved.
More importantly, The Cross assures us that there is life beyond this present one. 𝐀 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬, 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 right in the presence of our God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
On the faithful Friday, Jesus followers though it was all over, and they dispersed in dejection and sorrow not knowing that Sunday, two days later, was coming with a new beginning and a blessed new life. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞 ‘𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫’ 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬.
This isn’t just any holiday. It’s the declaration of ultimate victory. It’s hope for the hopeless, healing for the broken, and new life for all who believe. Because Jesus lives, there’s always a way forward. Always a second chance. There is always a future worth fighting for because 𝐰𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲.
As we celebrate the victory of life over death, and the promise of eternal life through Jesus, 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐲. Amen
