DAY 72: SUNDAY... A DAY OF REST & RELAXATION, REFLECTION & RESTORATION... Our weekly reminder that Jesus saves.
Use this day of rest to pray and ask God about the people currently in your life. Have you chosen your friends? Or have you asked God to choose for you? Do these friends lift you up or pull you down? Have there been family arguments, disagreements with friends, or have you just lost touch with someone and would like to reconnect?...
It's time to extend the Olive Branch and offer the GRACE card... pursue peace and FORGIVE because (brace yourself) God sees everything... and hears everything.
Consider thinking of God as actual light; present everywhere, all the time. Always there for every single conversation you've had... yikes!
Now imagine that when Lucifer sinned against God, he was thrown out of heaven 'at the speed of light'... changing his heavenly form. He fell to earth, not as light - but as a form of light, as fire - destroying everything that he would come in contact with. He sows a ring of fire around your soul, trying to chain you to the sin of this world using greed and envy.
Now, try to imagine Jesus as a form of water, where when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, out of your heart will flow rivers of living water. Use that living water to put out the fires of sin and death in your life.
God can hear all your conversations, including your inner thoughts. This is why it's said that merely thinking about sin is itself sinful, as thoughts can lead to actions. In contrast, the devil only hears the thoughts you vocalize. Therefore, when discussing your deepest desires with God, it's best to keep them in your mind rather than speak them aloud. This way, only you and God are privy to those thoughts. If you vocalize them, the devil will immediately attempt to thwart those plans and dreams.
When you pray to God, be very specific in your requests. The more details you include, the better. This way, you'll clearly recognize the source of your blessings when they arrive. The devil seeks to disguise temptations, presenting them in enticing, heavenly-like wrappings. If you encounter these, reject them immediately. Stand firm against the devil. Holding onto that sin for too long and looking into its dark nature may make it difficult to let it go. Consequently, you might inadvertently pass that sin onto your friends and family.
The 4th of July is about Freedom... Please take the time to write out a heartfelt card and give/send it to someone you love with a copy of 'No, Not, One'. Tell them what you need to in the card; Only you and God know what that is.
Sometimes the people you love get tired of hearing you 'preach to them' about God. So, let me tell them what you can't in the book.
Whether it's asking for forgiveness, giving forgiveness, seeking reconciliation, or giving them to God, while you head off on the path God has for you. Either way. Set yourself and others free this 4th of July and Make This A Summer To Remember as you COME ALIVE 2025 - YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE!
YOU DESERVE IT...
Do yourself a favor. Make your list today. Pick a card or make your own. Start planning what you want to say. Then, put your Gold Star up for today. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Remember, friendship is dirty business. Sometimes you have to humble yourself (like Jesus did ) and get down into the mud with someone and let them know that you care about them.
Give them the hope of Jesus! Be Blessed!

Wise cost-benefit
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐬 𝟏𝟏:𝟐𝟗
𝐇𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝: 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭.
Here are two ways you can cause trouble and cost yourself dearly. You can abuse privileges, or neglect duties, in your family, and you will end up with nothing. Potential prosperity will disappear like wind through fingers. These and other foolish choices will take you down: you will end up serving those who are prudent and wise in their choices.
Fathers can trouble their houses in many ways. Being greedy of gain is a clear one (Pr 15:27). They work too many hours, waste money in foolish ventures, deprive their family of personal attention, are stingy with money, compromise integrity, and are carnally minded, all in their vain pursuit of wealth. Lazy and foolish men also hurt their families by depriving them of needs and opportunities through sloth and ignorance.
Fathers can also be too overbearing, harsh, critical, and domineering, which may discourage wives and children, or provoke them to wrath (Eph 6:4; Col 3:21). On the other hand, a father who avoids decisions or being a leader troubles his house. The wife and children are at sea without a captain. They lack security and direction for their lives.
While fathers are mentioned here, everyone knows overbearing wives and mothers are also an evil (Pr 12:4; 19:13; 21:9,19; 25:24; 27:15-16; 30:21-23). They drive children to anger, bitterness, discouragement, frustration, and even hatred, though they whitewash their odious conduct by saying, “I was just trying to help.” They are full-time meddlers, always digging, nagging, and pressing suggestions about unimportant aspects of life.
What is the punishment for these selfish persons – foolish fathers and mothers? They lose their families. The children can hardly wait for marriage to get away. Some will run away before marriage. These children only come home under duress. They want so much to escape the vexation of living with selfish or critical parents. They want peace and quiet, with affection and happiness, where love reigns; they want to escape their cruel parents.
Such fools also lose the contest of life. Cream rises – prudent and wise men; dregs fall – foolish and impulsive men. These losers end up serving the wise in heart. They envy their success; they beg for charity; they borrow from them; they likely work for them. Wise men win in the game of life, and fools end up losing to them. Embrace wisdom today.
Troubling your family has consequences. Foolish parents, who selfishly neglect their children or odiously interfere in their lives, will lose them. They will die lonely, even if the children visit them out of obligation. Foolish choices will cost a man his standing; the prudent man will take dominion over him. These judgments are natural and appropriate.
The proverb also applies to children that do not honor their parents. They also will inherit the wind – they will lose by natural and divine judgment the benefit that could or should have been theirs. They will end up serving their siblings or others that are wise of heart. The constant lesson of Proverbs is the great benefit of righteousness and wisdom.

Powerful moderation
From Destruction to Devotion: Lessons from the Los Angeles Wildfires
Peace be with you all.
Sadly, the most destructive wildfire in modern Los Angeles County, California history is raging unchecked, causing immense destruction. Over 1,000 homes have been destroyed, over 130,000 residents have had to evacuate, and at least five people have been killed. The Palisades Fire was the first to start the chain of fires just a couple of days ago in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles County, California. Fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds, the fire has spread rapidly, burning over 28,000 acres so far.
God, in His goodness toward us, affords us noble elements such as air, water, and sunshine. These elements serve and benefit mankind because we are made in the image of God. This is a great privilege and something we should be thankful to Him for. Without God's command, these elements would never submit to us, as we are inferior to them, but they do so because of God's order and our creation in His image.
However, even though these elements are commanded by God to provide for us, they can grow weary due to an excessive amount of sin and the failure to acknowledge God, our Creator, properly. This is why we sometimes see an excess of rain or flooding, extreme dryness from the sun, or powerful destructive windstorms. These elements often become fatigued by mankind's continued disregard for God's ways.
Thanks be to God, for many years, America has been a blessed country. But as it has been blessed, more people of diverse backgrounds and different religious faiths have come to the country. This has led to complexities in how society acknowledges God. It is important that we as individuals hold to the acknowledgment and worship of only God, our Creator, despite the growing diverse population. We don't want to force anyone to worship God, because God doesn't force people. If God doesn't force people, neither should we. However, it is important that we hold to our faith in the Creator and try to persuade others to our way of thinking without pressing or pressuring them if they don't want to hear it. Our acknowledgment and thankfulness to the Creator contribute to our reward in the Kingdom of God, and persuading others without forcing them contributes to a better and safer society in general.
While God in His goodness has been patient and blessed America in many ways, America has still held traditions steeped in centuries of idolatry. For example, all the English days of the week are named after pagan idols in history. Why should we give reference to pagan idols in history for our days of the week who have done nothing for us? God, our Creator, is the one who deserves recognition for our days of the week, as it is Him who provided everything for us. Yet, many Americans persist with holding to these pagan names out of tradition instead of changing them for the better. Some countries, including Israel, have named the days of the week after the number of the day of the week it represents as given in the Genesis Creation account of the Bible. This is a practice I believe America should follow to eliminate these pagan names for the days of the week. Consider the passage of scripture: "Do not invoke the names of other gods; do not let them be heard on your lips" (Exodus 23:13).
Next, California has become the largest liberal state in America, advocating for rights such as abortion. Los Angeles receives the highest number of people traveling for abortions from restricted areas compared to any other city in the United States. It's estimated that between 4,700 and 9,400 people travel to Los Angeles County alone each year for abortion services. If God blessed you with the gift of a child, why would God delight in seeing you take its life away through abortion? Many Christians and Jews read sections of the Bible about how the ancient Israelites, rooted in idolatry, sometimes sacrificed their own children to idols. People think of how horrible that act was while failing to see the horror of killing a child in the womb because of not wanting it. There are alternative options, such as offering the child for adoption. Many people who can't have children desire to adopt. Offering your child for adoption can contribute to someone's happiness, even if you don’t want to raise the child. Let's consider these alternative solutions instead of performing such acts of evil through abortion.
In discussions with many people worldwide, I try to help them see that God isn't pleased with animal sacrifices, such as those performed during Eid Al-Adha. I believe this is why we often see destruction and war-torn societies due to these practices. People often respond by mentioning that America also kills many animals for consumption. My response is that my country of America sadly also suffers consequences through natural disasters such as wildfires and a growing number of cancer facilities and hospitals. Some researchers believe that the California fires are linked to climate change, and one of the largest causes of climate change is the killing and eating of animals. Environmentalists believe that livestock farming produces significant greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to global warming.
From these tragic events in Los Angeles, we learn the importance of being grateful to God for His many blessings, as what we have can be gone in an instant if God wills it. Many insurance companies have canceled fire policies in Los Angeles, especially in areas prone to wildfires. State Farm alone dropped about 1,600 policies in Pacific Palisades, the same area where the recent fire broke out. This has left many residents without adequate coverage, making the financial impact even more devastating. In just two days, it's possible that many of these people lost everything they had. Let's stay thankful to God, our Creator, for the blessings He has bestowed upon us and practice righteous living, recognizing that at any moment, what we have can be gone in an instant if God wills it.
Living a Life Pleasing to God:
In addition to the broader principles discussed, there are specific actions and behaviors that can draw us closer to or distance us from God. These include:
Abstaining from consuming meat and blood, as God never intended for us to kill and eat animals.
Avoiding sexual immorality, which can manifest in various forms, including polygamy.
Practicing moderation in all things.
While these may seem challenging, they are essential aspects of living a life that is truly pleasing to God.
Conclusion: Let us strive to live lives that are pleasing to God, rejecting falsehood and embracing truth. May we learn from past suffering and work towards a future filled with peace, love, and understanding.
Shalom

A divine connection that will change your life and status in 2025 is coming your way and no devil will divert or stop it, in Jesus' name! You will no longer struggle to gain access; the oil of divine connection will flow over your life and open great doors for you, in the name of Jesus!
By divine connection, I declare that your name will be mentioned in high places, your image will appear in visions of destiny helpers, and the Lord will orchestrate divine appointments that position you with those destined to shift you to a higher level and bless you.
Acts 9:11-12 says, “So the Lord said to him, ‘Arise and go to the street called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he is praying. And in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and putting his hand on him, so that he might receive his sight.’” Just as God orchestrated Saul’s divine encounter, may He order your steps toward your ordained helpers and breakthroughs.
Just as God connected David to Ziba, and Ziba to Mephibosheth, I prophesy that God will use ordinary people and seemingly ordinary circumstances to connect you to extraordinary favor and uncommon breakthroughs! (2 Samuel 9:5-7)
Just as Saul’s servant directed him to the Prophet who held the solution to their need, I declare that God will place the right people in your life to lead you to the answers and opportunities you seek. You will not miss your moment of divine intervention by divine connection!
Just like Naaman’s servant connected him to the prophet who brought healing, I prophesy that in every area where you need solutions, the Lord will divinely connect you to the right people, places, and resources. Your answers are coming swiftly, in the mighty name of Jesus!

scripture
Setting boundaries in courtship can be challenging. We may look back on past mistakes and wish for a fresh start. Thankfully, while we cannot turn back time, we have something even greater—the grace and mercy of God in Christ.
We are graciously invited to 'come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need' (Hebrews 4:16, KJV). God knows the whole matter, even before we speak. Through faith in Christ, we are forgiven and made at peace with God, enabling us to walk anew: 'Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ' (Romans 5:1, KJV).
In humble reliance on God, we can set new parameters that honor Him and protect our purity. As Scripture reminds us, 'Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart' (2 Timothy 2:22, KJV). Practical steps might include limiting dating to public spaces and postponing physical affection until after marriage, trusting God’s guidance in all things.
