I MADE A TOUGH DECISION YESTERDAY - BUT THE RIGHT ONE. What was meant to be a beautiful celebration of women for International Women’s Day started to feel like competition. Something felt off. I knew it was a risk to step into a bigger space, to bring our work into the city instead of the fields and sacred spaces where we feel most at home, but I know this is so called for, to bring our work into the open, to no longer shy away, and hide ourselves. Originally I wanted to align with the power of IWD, but in truth, I was stepping out of my own integrity. The theme of accelerating action is powerful, but for us, the call is different. We are not here to push for change in a masculine way. We are here to stand for change in a deeply feminine way. To slow down, to listen, to root into our wisdom and rise from that place. To honour our cycles, our knowing, and the way we hold space - not just for ourselves, but for each other and for the world we are rebuilding. So we postponed. Because this work doesn’t belong to just one day in the calendar, this is the deeper work. The knowing when to change course, and be fully in your integrity, not to just push on through regardless! To truly listen to that inner voice, and to be brave enough to take the leap, no matter what! This means for those who were on the fence, now you don’t have to choose.
