Here’s some tips that can help make your offers stronger: 1. Use a well trusted local lender if you’re getting financing. This can be a huge advantage! The seller needs confidence that the buyer can get to the closing table. 2. Make a list of your wants/needs prior to home shopping. If you know homes are going under contract quickly and the market is competitive, it could mean there’s a good chance the house you’re making an offer on could go for over asking price. So shopping for a home under your max budget will give you more flexibility when negotiating sales price with a seller. Many times knowing what you need and staying in that price range will give you a better chance of obtaining your ultimate goal, which is closing on a home. 🏠 3. Hire an agent to represent you that knows what questions to ask when preparing an offer. Such as does the seller have a preference on who does the closing? Do they have a preference on a closing date? Do they want a rent back? Find out what the seller wants and tailor your offer to that if you can. 4.
