Calling all Black families—if you are currently breastfeeding or have ever breastfed, we welcome you to participate in a meaningful focus group that will help reclaim and retell the story of Black breastfeeding. Mothers, daughters, aunties, cousins—everyone is welcome to share their story, whether they breastfed for a little or a long time. All participants will receive a $50 gift card. A free meal and free on-site childcare will be provided. Your participation will make a real impact. The results of this study will add to the body of knowledge on Black maternal and infant health—work that is more urgent than ever given ongoing cuts to federal research funding in this area.
