Earth Day 2025 | April 22 This year’s Earth Day theme is #OurPowerOurPlanet, urging everyone to unite around renewable energy to triple clean electricity by 2030. Since the mid-1990s, WESKetch Architecture + Construction has been committed to designing and building energy-efficient homes with healthy interiors and low-carbon footprint structures. Prioritizing eco-friendly, locally sourced, sustainable materials. Bill Kaufman, the founder and CEO of WESKetch, was one of the early pioneers in the sustainable design movement. He became the first LEED-accredited architect in New Jersey. 📷 Featured Project | Design-Build Zero-Energy Home | Cold Brook Farm—a unique sustainable homestead in Oldwick, NJ WESKetch sited and designed Cold Brook Farm so that the longest part of the roof for both the house and the barn faced south. This orientation allows the seventy-one 375-watt solar panels to work most efficiently, generating all the energy used by the household from onsite, renewable sources.
