We are currently seeking someone highly awesome, and highly motivated as a full-time sales associate for our Detroit location. JOB DESCRIPTION The position is for a 40 Hour week, full time Sales Associate with a starting salary of $15 per hour. Part-time positions are not available at this time. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Applicants should be prepared to provide exceptional customer service, this is the foundation of everything we do. Customer service includes tasks as simple as hunting down an item in the shop, setting up special orders, and making thoughtful recommendations. Knowledge of comic books, board games, manga, vinyl collectibles, and pop culture in general is great, but NOT necessarily prohibitive for application. All of that stuff is excellent and can be learned as you go. Applicants should come equipped with the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers clearly and effectively, to have a positive attitude, and be able to multitask. Send your resume with a cover letter to - mary@vaultofmidnight.com Some duties of a Vault sales associate include - 💀 Checking out customers using a POS system 💀 Store beautification including merchandising and cleaning - sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc. 💀 Filing out/stocking comic books using Vault of Midnight's proprietary "Alphabet of Midnight" system. 💀 Inventory management and mail-order shipping 💀 Physical requirements: lifting boxes of various sizes and weights, standing for long periods and climbing stairs multiple times in a day 💀 Exceptional customer service - to customers and co-workers 💀 Retail sales experience is preferred but not required 💀 Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems 💀 Clean appearance, hygiene, personal presentation, etc. 💀 Must be at least 18 years old (interacting with occasionally mature material) 💀 The ability to do several things at once or "Multitask" 💀 Independently motivated 💀 Compensation starts at $15 per hour, with raises assessed over time and as responsibilities are added.
