Dear friends, We have some news to share, and no, we’re not moving, and we haven’t run off to Italy (though that sounds tempting some days). We’re simply pressing pause on our dinner service for the spring and summer. I know, I know… dinner was your weekend thing. It was ours too. But after many long nights and nearly 40 hours packed into 2.5 days, my body has officially filed a complaint. Years ago, I had major hernia surgery, and lately, that same pain has returned so in order to avoid any health issues I will focus my love and energy on breakfast and lunch. I have a family, a business I deeply love, and a dream that’s growing faster than ever that I have to protect at all costs. So please know: this isn’t a failure. It’s us choosing sustainability over burnout, family over exhaustion, and quality over quantity. We’ve had to close early the last few Saturdays, even with full reservations, and I truly want to apologize to everyone who made plans and was affected. That wasn’t easy for me, and I want to say thank you for your grace and patience. Thank you for your kind words and reviews. We hope to see you back in fall for dinner but of course we hope to see every week for breakfast and lunch 🧡 Ani’s Kitchen has never been about money, it’s always been about love. About sharing my passion through food and seeing the joy on your faces when you experience something made with heart. But this isn’t a step back, it’s a shift forward. We are growing. Big changes are coming. We’re getting ready to open our beautiful patio, something we’ve been dreaming of for a long time. With that, plus new items, weekly specials, and more surprises, our work is about to double or triple. We’re focusing all our love and energy into breakfast and lunch, where we can serve you with our full heart and best quality. Please come see us. We would love to welcome you back for breakfast and lunch, Tuesday through Sunday, 7AM to 3PM (and soon Mondays too). Thank you for all the love, encouragement, and support. Your presence means more than words can say. This isn’t goodbye, it’s just the beginning of something even better. Thank you to my staff who has been so supportive and are getting ready for one of the busiest seasons ever. Please show them love and respect because they deserve it.
