📣Today makes 652 days that Otis has been in rescue, this is a reality for many dogs in Oklahoma. Before entering rescue, Otis had been living at a rural municipal shelter for months. Otis has been in a few different foster homes, boarding, & the dog training program at Mabel Basset. He also went to a training program to try to be a working dog but ultimately does not have the drive to be a working dog & has much more of a desire to be a house hippo so “flunked out” of the program. We can’t blame him though, he just wants a comfy couch to chill on, a family to love him, and to get all the spoils of being a house doggo! Otis has been waiting for a home to choose him, waiting for someone to see his worth, to stand by him through thick & thin! Otis is available through Kanoa Rescue Foundation who has stood by through thick & thin! ✅ Loves being in the backyard with his peeps ✅ Loves to play but also loves to chill ✅ Good with kids ✅ Neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations & preventatives. 💔 Good boy being overlooked for adoption ➡️ Otis is currently looking for a home without other dogs or cats. 🏡 He would do good in a home who is able to crate & rotate as well, he is successfully doing this now in his foster home!
