On behalf of a local resident who survived an apartment fire, I have filed suit pro bono against the complex, named by the AJC as one of Gwinnett’s most “dangerous dwellings,” and, according to the SEEA report GHC & I commissioned a few years ago, had the highest eviction rates in the area. Access to legal services is critical, but remains low – partic. when it comes to landlord-tenant law - which is why, when possible, I’ve taken on a number of pro bono cases here through the years.
