*Educational and Awarness campaign on Forest conducted for students of SSV Campus,Gandhinagar dated 24th & 25th July 2025* Two-days Forest Awareness Training Programme organized by the Broadcast Department, Gandhinagar, in collaboration with the Chess Swadesh Foundation Charitable Trust for Students of SSV Campus. On *24th July 2025* as a part of two-day awareness and sensitization training program on environmental and forest conservation, held at the Conference Hall of Van Sanshodhan Sankul, Gandhinagar, composed of informative lectures by experts on various topics like "Necessity of environmental conservation and contributions of NGOs” by Shri T.L.Patel “Retired Deputy Forest Officer”, “Snakes - Our Friend” by Shri Nilesh Pandor and Ms. Ami Shrimali ,NGO Vadodra and “Wild life of Gujarat and Its Importance” by Shri B.R.Solanki , Retired Assistant Forest Officer. On the second day *25th July 2025* ,The Department had arranged a day long field trip to Polo Forest for 30 students and teachers of SSV campus, a region known for its rich biodiversity and heritage. Guided by forest department officials and subject experts, the students explored the ecological aspects of the forest and learned how to identify the flora and fauna of the region, and learned about sustainable forest management practices.The trip concluded with QnA dialogue session among students and experts The initiative aimed to build environmental awareness among students and encourage them to take proactive roles in conservation efforts.
