Trust me, you won’t want to miss this event! 📅 When: Sunday, 26th January 📍 Where: Market Square, Lancaster City Centre ⏰ What’s Happening: Stalls open from 10 AM, Opening Ceremony kicks off at 12 PM 🌟 What to Expect (with timings): 🐲Dragon and Lion Dance: A spectacular opening act bringing luck and energy to the day starts at 12:00 straight after the opening ceremony. 🥁Drum performances (14:35–14:45, 16:30–16:45) Our old friends Batala Lancaster will be bringing their amazing drumming show again this year! 💃Traditional Chinese Dance: Immerse yourself in the elegance and beauty of authentic Chinese dance performances (14:30–14:35, 14:45–14:55, 16:20–16:30). 🥋Martial Arts Demonstration: Witness the power and artistry of traditional Chinese kung fu, a breathtaking showcase of strength and skill (13:45–14:05, 15:00–15:15). 🎵 Elegant Chinese instruments (13:15–13:35), showcasing the beauty of traditional melodies. 🧒 Heartwarming children’s songs (12:35–13:00), spreading joy and festive cheer. 🪄 A dazzling magic show (14:15–14:25), with surprises and wonder! ✂️Cultural Workshops: Try Chinese traditional paper cutting, calligraphy, and even a mini lion dance (workshops ongoing at stalls). 💃Don’t miss the Dance Workshop (15:35–15:55), where our talented dancers will personally teach you traditional Chinese dance! 🍜Food and Fun: Have some delicious Chinese food and explore traditional crafts at our vibrant market stalls (starting at 10:00).
