we are honored to announce the upcoming online exhibition of Kazunori Ohnaka, a potter from Mine, Yamaguchi 'the distant days' focused on his works crafted from 信楽 Shigaraki clay and coated with a manganese glaze that gives them the rich, earthy appearance of iron. each piece is carefully polished, revealing a tactile texture that invites both visual and physical appreciation the pottery, where irregular holes and chips embody the concepts of incompleteness and the passage of time, changes in appearance depending on the background it’s placed against. it’s not only functional but also a captivating work of art, one that draws the viewer in from every angle exhibition begins 15 February 2025 all works will be available for purchase on our website photography: @adamdziewiatowski
