I still say sorry so often to those versions of myself.
I’m embarrassed that I held a certificate & as a mother of a daughter.
Everything was fast, no care for my body I just wanted to push it to the max in the shortest time possible, eating felt like cheating & then became where I would hide, visited the scales at least twice a day. My hormones were shot. I just added more & more stress & felt like a loser when I couldn’t cope or my body wouldn’t change or would break.
When women come to me - it takes me right back there. These are not easy patterns to break.
This is a snippet from a 45page nutrition/recipe/meal planner broken down for individual goals - for our next camp.
We MUST understand what we are wanting, because your body composition goal - might conflict with your scale goal.
More often than not I see women eating far too low until they snap & go to the other extreme. These are usually the women who think they eat too much.
You may not wish to count cals ( I don’t have to now ) but you must know how much, what your body requires & why & how to add balance. Your training might also be conflicting with your nutrition.
