PLEASE SHARE FOR OSHIE 🐾 On July 1st, just days before the 4th of July, Oshie was one of 40 dogs scheduled to be euthanized at a high-kill shelter in Oklahoma. They weren’t sick or aggressive. They were just out of time. The shelter had to clear space for the flood of animals expected after the fireworks — strays terrified by noise, fear, and chaos. So they made a list. And Oshie’s name was on it. We couldn’t let that be her end. We said yes — to her, and to 39 others. We loaded the van. We made the promise. And we brought them to safety. But for the past two weeks, Oshie has been in medical boarding, quietly fighting to get better. She just beat an upper respiratory infection, has her health certificate, and is finally cleared to travel to our shelter. Now she just needs one thing: a foster. Or better yet, a forever home. She deserves more than another kennel. She deserves to know what love feels like. Meet Oshie: – Shy at first, but a total lover once she trusts you – A little hyper at first, but calms down quickly – Startled by fast movements and loud noises – Non-reactive to other dogs, but we’re not sure how she feels about sharing space with them yet – Incredibly sweet. Still so young. Just scared, and so deserving of a fresh start. We don’t know anything about her past. But we do know that from this moment on, her life will be filled with love — thanks to people like you. We are drowning in medical bills, boarding costs, and the constant struggle of trying to save lives in Oklahoma while still caring for the many waiting in our shelters. And we can’t do it alone.
