Join LPAPA Signature Artist Dan Mondloch for a live online 2-Session Watercolor Painting Workshop, 10AM to 12:30PM PDT, Thursday July 31st and Friday August 1st. This online workshop will focus on “Expressive Landscapes in Watercolor Using the Damp Paper Method”, exploring the freedom and creativity of watercolor through a unique approach. In this step-by-step workshop, you’ll learn to wet the front and back of your paper for a longer “open time,” allowing you to blend colors, achieve soft edges, and create beautiful textures. Each session, Dan will simplify complex scenes into large shapes of value and color, helping you build your confidence and skills to paint with expressive brushwork and bold color. With demonstrations and exercises, you’ll discover how to communicate through the visual language of painting while gaining satisfying and dynamic results. Students will be provided with photos and lesson recordings to use as reference to create their own paintings.
