Hello everyone! This upcoming weekend marks one of the most memorable events we have here in Nanaimo every summer—it's Bath Tub Weekend! Every year, on the last weekend of July, we gather for the exciting bathtub races in Departure Bay. It's a fantastic event that brings joy to people of all ages! We want to give a big shoutout to the participants who build and race these incredible bathtub boats. It’s quite the event and definitely a great workout! This tradition brings back fond memories for us at Classic Care, as we used to have our own bathtub boat, and Lorne himself used to race it! In honor of this fun-filled weekend, we wanted to reminisce and show our appreciation for everyone involved in making this event happen.
