Here at JSDS, we’re proud to share a glimpse into one of our recent projects @massorestaurant — a warm, quietly luxurious fine dining restaurant, where atmosphere, intimacy and quiet elegance was everything. The full-height wine wall becomes a backdrop of the space, both functional and sculptural, with each bottle softly backlit to create a sense of depth and occasion. Fixed table lamps from @felix_lighting behind the banquette seating, cast a gentle pool of light — just enough to illuminate your plate without breaking the mood. The banquettes are upholstered in a beautiful bespoke colour organic wave patterned fabric from @pierrefreyuk @lamaisonpierrefrey, adding movement and softness to the space. Above, a sculptural chandelier from @arteriorshome made from dipped plaster and fine wirework hovers gently, casting beautiful shadows across the interior, further embellishing the intimate atmosphere. The restaurant walls and vaulted ceilings are finished in a dry, tactile polished plaster that absorbs the warm tones beautifully. The space is designed as a subtle layering of richness - not loud, but slow and seductive. Each of the surfaces, materials and even the light level has been carefully specified to create an atmosphere that is calm, elegant, and quietly indulgent.
