Temporary Pause in Rescue Operations 🐾 We want to be transparent with all of you about the challenges we are currently facing and why we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily halt rescue operations. At the moment, we owe ₱20,000 to our vet, ₱15,000 for utilities and ₱60,000 to one of our food suppliers. Our Fifty Pesos Friday fundraising is not enough to cover a week's worth of food expenses. Providing food for our rescues is a daily necessity, and when there are days resources fall short, credit becomes our only option—leading to debts that continue to pile up. In addition to these expenses, we have other operational expenses and the ongoing care of hundreds of rescued animals that rely on us. While we do our best to shoulder many of these expenses ourselves, personal funds and our salaries are also limited because we have families of our own to support. We do not want to burden anyone with these problems, but as much as we want to keep rescuing, we cannot do so until we’ve addressed our current financial obligations. Rest assured, we will be back on our feet again as soon as we have settled these challenges.
