Mini Thailand Week 2025 Kicks Off at Ayala Center Cebu To Thailand Showcases Trade and Culture in Cebu, the Thai Trade Center in Manila, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, officially launches Mini Thailand Week 2025 today (June 26, 2025) at Ayala Center Cebu under the theme “Discover Excellence, Trade with Thailand,” the four day fair showcases the richness, quality, and innovation of Thai products and services. Runs daily until Sunday, 29 June 2025, the event reaffirms Thailand’s commitment toward strengthening trade and cultural ties between Thailand and the Philippines. Mini Thailand Week 2025 marks the return of this popular show to Cebu City following its long absence due to the COVID epidemic. The opening ceremony was jointly chaired by H.E. Mrs. Makawadee Sumitmor, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Philippines, Hon. Pamela S. Baricuatro, the Governor-Elect of Office of Governor Province of Cebu, Ms. Sutinee Vathana, Director of Thai Trade Center in Manila. Also officiating at the opening ceremony were Ms. Esperanza T.L. Melgar, the Acting Regional Director of Department of Trade and Industry-Region VII , Mr. Jay Y. Yuvallos, President of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ms. Melanie C. Ng, the Area Vice President of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Visayas, Mr. Johnson Ng, President of Cebu Mandaue Federation of Chinese Chambre of Commerce and Industry, Ms. Mia Singson-Leon, the President of Hotel Resort & Restaurant Association of Cebu Inc., and Ms. Angela Paulin, the President of Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, Inc, while turning up en masse were Cebu’s celebrities, several KOLs and important media representatives. Thai cultural shows of Ramayana epic was featured on the opening ceremony featuring traditional masked dance in opulent costumes, dances of the Four Regions, and demonstration of Muay Thai.
